Hey everyone. This is the second article relating to Blogging for Newbies. Thanks to everyone who has left a comment for the first article. Here are some more ways of monetizing your blog if you choose to do so. Please feel free to leave some more comments.

Here we go:
Number 1: The first and probably most popular way to monetize your blog would be to sell some advertising space. I would only suggest doing this once your blog is popular. That way you can charge a relatively high price for the ad space on your blog.

Number 2: You can get paid to blog meaning that you can write blogs for other people. The only thing you would need to do this is a paypal account. Paypal is easy and free to join. Some of the free to join blogging networks include:
PayPerPost
Smorty
ReviewMe
BlogsVertise
Bloggerwave

Remember, these are only a handful of the dozens of blogging networks that are available. Just do a simple search on google or yahoo and you should find plenty of popular blogging networks. Also, you probably will not make much money from blogging networks at first. Again, once your blog becomes popular, then this route is a good way to go!!

Number 3: Join an affiliate program like amazon or commission junction. These are pretty simple and straight forward. Just promote whatever products you want and when a product sells, you earn a commission from that product.

Number 4: You can also join some ad networks. These are networks where you can place an advertisement on your blog and you earn when someone clicks on the ad or when the ad is shown 1000 times. These are called cpc and cpm respectively. These are also free and easy to join.

Number 5: You can also join a text link site where you can earn by selling text links on your blog. The most popular text link site is Text Link Ads. Very simple and easy to join program.

Number 6: Google Adsense. Google will pay you to place banners on your site and when someone clicks on that banner, you will get paid. Easy and simple to include on your site.

All 6 ways of monetizing your blog that I have mentioned above are all easy and free to join programs. Always, remember to never pay for any of the services above!!

All new bloggers have to start somewhere.  For the people who are new to blogging, there are so many things you can write about in your blog.  You can write about your hobbies, friends, family, school, sports, what’s on tv, or anything you can think of.  Take my advice, write about something you are passoniate about.  No matter what it is, just make sure you love the topic.

There are also so many things you can add to your blog.  You can add videos, music, advertisements or pictures.  There are so many ways to incorporate anything into your blog.  If you need any help at all, blogger has an excellent help forum.  Just list your questions on the forum and you should receive a response reasonably quickly.

You can even make money with your blog.  I have found so many ways to monetize your blog.  Just do a search on yahoo or google and you should find plenty of information on those 2 search engines.  If I were you, I would not participate in every opportunity you find.  Just start with a few and see how it goes.  Then you can start building your blog with the other opportunities that you found.  Just start small and you will be amazed on how fast your blog will grow!!

Finally, I think I will take my own advice and start building my blogs to make them strong.  The whole idea is to start small and then you will have an amazing blog.
